Kat, Laura, and I welcomed our newest "daughter" from Turkey, Ozlem ("Ozzie") Karairmak, who is working on her dissertation with me that focuses on resiliency. The Four of us.

We enjoyed lots of good and traditional Thanksgiving food, plus the Backlava that Ozzie brought. She also brought Laura a special good luck pin, complete with the evil eye protector, for her home. Laura with Ozzie and her gift.
