for a while and carefully advanced towards JSU with SMGs and grenades ready knowing that
armored monster couldn’t rotate its feared howitzer with a thrown track. The
dismounted tankers surrounded this monsterous armored box like a group of elephant
hunters, and tried to force the crew out with smoke. The Soviets, though, were willing to
fight to the bitter end and kept Finns down using their own hand grenades and sub-machine
guns. After bitter fighting, the Reds gave up and abandoned their vehicle only to be
killed by the Finns during short but intense fight. The captured JSU was repaired within
two days and sent back to the front in order to participate heavy fights - this time
against its former owners - but was lost in combat just few days later... to be continued... |
