US M3 Halftrack - During the fighting in the Phillipines, US soldiers discovered that at least one M3 75mm GMC halftrack had been used by Japanese forces. This vehicle had been impressed into service by the 2nd Japanese Armored Division. After being knocked out by US forces, the vehicle was left blocking a bridge. The vehicle is seen here after it had been pushed off the bridge by advancing US troops. - Photo contribution by Bill Morran.
