Polish Armored Train "Smialy"
The train was painted in standard Polish
camoflage of sand, green, and brown. Seen is a Ti3-9 armored locomotive, artillery wagons,
and transporters with FT and TK tanks. Smialy destroyed nearly 100 German tanks during the
battles around Mokra City. This train was later captured by the Soviets and used by the
NKVD. In 1941, the train was captured by the Germans and used by the German Army during
the battle of Stalingrad. Two trains actually had the same name. Above shows the 1919 and
1939 versions.
