In my academic experience, I have discovered that non-fiction comes to me most naturally. I enjoy the demand to communicate clearly and effectively when writing non-fiction. When I begin to write non-fiction, I am reminded that the genre is fluid and powerful. Non-fiction offers its writers the chance to share with others the lens through which they view the world.
