Dear Friends,
This is the page for all the photos of the Feb-April 2004 Fulbright Fellowship
Trip. It starts with my going away party and Laura's birthday and include my
various experiences here in Kuwait, the week in Turkey, and all other experiences
until my return. Let me know if there are any problems of linking or other suggestions.
After the Bon Voyage Party thrown by Kat at our
home Saturday, February , 2004 and the celebration of Laura's
birthday, I departed for Frankfurt on Monday,
February 9 via Atlanta and arrived the next morning. From there I rented
a car and drove to Landstuhl, Germany and US
Army Hospital there which was responsible for all critical care of American
and civilians wounded or injured in the wars in the Middle East. I stayed with
Col. Sally Harvey and her husband Richard, a civilian trauma surgeon . Then,
on the 13th I drove back and boarded the plane to Kuwait.
I took with me, as most do, my photos
of home.
Then Kathy joined me in Istanbul,
Turkey for a wonderful week of vacation.
