What Needs To Be Done?
  • Recruit help!
  • Recruit team members!
  • Hold preliminary competition and assign events.
  • Practice!
  • Attend Olympiad.
  • Recognize team members and teachers at school awards ceremony.


  • Important Dates
    Please keep in mind the following ESO at JHS 1999 dates:
    ESO 1999 Registration Deadline Thursday, December 10, 1998
    ESO 1999 Pre-Registration Forms Due Monday, February 1, 1999
    Elementary Science Olympiad 1999 Saturday, February 27, 1999

    Individual and Team Awards
  • Olympic-style medals will be awarded to the first, second, third, fourth and possibly fifth place teams in each event.
  • Olympic-style medals will be awarded to each team member on each event winning team.
  • First, second, third, fourth and possibly fifth place championship trophies will be awarded to the teams compiling the most total points during the Olympiad.
  • Plaques will be awarded to the winning teams' coaches.
  • Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
  • Parents and friends are invited to the awards ceremony beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the JHS gymnasium.
