ESO 1999 DETAILS RULE CLARIFICATIONS ESO 1999 SCHEDULE EVENT CHECKLIST EVENT PRE-REGISTRATION TENTATIVE TEAM ROSTER What Needs To Be Done? Recruit help! Recruit team members! Hold preliminary competition and assign events. Practice! Attend Olympiad. Recognize team members and teachers at school awards ceremony. Important Dates Please keep in mind the following ESO at JHS 1999 dates: ESO 1999 Registration Deadline Thursday, December 10, 1998 ESO 1999 Pre-Registration Forms Due Monday, February 1, 1999 Elementary Science Olympiad 1999 Saturday, February 27, 1999 Individual and Team Awards Olympic-style medals will be awarded to the first, second, third, fourth and possibly fifth place teams in each event. Olympic-style medals will be awarded to each team member on each event winning team. First, second, third, fourth and possibly fifth place championship trophies will be awarded to the teams compiling the most total points during the Olympiad. Plaques will be awarded to the winning teams' coaches. Certificates will be awarded to all participants. Parents and friends are invited to the awards ceremony beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the JHS gymnasium.
