Dr. Daniel R. Vicker JR.
Dan Vicker serves as a consultant and Senior Management Trainer for the CPM program and assists in many aspects of its development and administration. He received his doctorate degree in organizational communication from FSU. He has completed a master's degree in public administration at FSU, a master's degree in business administration at UWF, a bachelor's degree in systems science with an emphasis in management and accounting, and completed the organizational development/ leadership certificate program at UWF. He is a member of the 2000 Florida Sterling Council Board of Examiners. He is a member of the Florida Certified Public managers, The American Academy of Certified Public Managers, The American Society of Training and Development, and the American Society of Public Administration. He is a certified True Colors Trainer and has conducted both qualitative and quantitative research projects. He conducts projects serving as a trainer/facilitator/consultant in teambuilding, interpersonal communication, cultural diversity, intercultural/interracial communication, leadership, organization development, and management issues. Formally, his job is "facilitating the education of public managers in leadership for our changing world." Informally, he describes a major part of his job as "helping people to be nice to each other", which involves an in-depth understanding of the relationship among leadership, human behavior, and organizational issues.
