_____________________________________________________

* Exactly: Exactly one pair means it cannot be two pair, or any other number of pairs—just one.

**Distinct: Two distinct things can be told apart, or differentiated from one another. If two line segments are of different length, they are distinct. If they are same length, they are not distinct because you cannot tell one from the other.

*** Consecutive versus Opposite: Consecutive means that they touch at a point; it means they are adjacent; next to one another. Opposite sides are across from one another (they do not touch), while consecutive sides are right next to each other.
