About Me
I've been teaching since 2003 and joined the faculty at the College of Communication & Information at Florida State University in August 2006. I had been working on my PhD in Management Information Systems at the University at Buffalo where I had also earned an MBA with concentrations in Health Systems Management and M.I.S. Prior to going back to school for the MBA and PhD, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
My research interests are in the areas of innovation adoption and diffusion, outsourcing, information assurance, strategic information technology, and knowledge management with a focus on the healthcare arena. Recently I have been focusing on personal health records, electronic health records, health literacy, health information exchange, regional health information organizations, and consumer health informatics. My teaching interests are in strategic management, health informatics, and information technology.
