I am an Ohio native who moved to Florida. I have been happily married for the last seventeen years to my wife Susan, also an artist. We have three happy children named Andrew, Marie, and Julia. My wife and children have been the very best part of my life.

For the last 5 years I have been employed by Florida State University's Printing & Mailing Services. I am a graduate of Tallahassee's Community College and am attending Florida State University, as a major in Art Education.

My favorite kind of art is image manipulation, which I used to do in B&W photography, but now more so in Adobe Photoshop. I also highly enjoy painting, which I have developed a small talent for (at least I seem to be selling a few!). My favorite scenes are those of the North Florida coastline with its mixture of mossy oaks, pines and palms beside the marshes and grassy coastal flats. I also love to escape to the Great Smoky Mountains, where I do a lot of Nature Photography as well as a lot of great Hiking!

My hope for the future is to be able to learn how to teach Art, especially to concentrate on the applications of the computer to the field of Art. I believe that computers are revolutionizing the world in many ways, and that it's effectiveness as a tool to produce Art has not yet been fully realized. I want to be there when it is fully realized!
