![]() The FSU Summer Study-Abroad Program based at TFSU offers students a valuable chance to study Chinese language, Chinese culture, and business. In this program students take intensive language courses taught by Chinese teachers specialized in the instruction of Chinese as a foreign language, as well as courses on multinational business taught in English by FSU faculty. Students will also study Chinese history and culture, Chinese music, Tai Chi, cuisine, etc. The program features a number of excursions to major sites of cultural heritage and current economic activities, designed to enhance students’ understanding of China’s splendid past and dynamic present. In addition, to promote greater exposure to Chinese society beyond campus, each student will be assigned a host family at whose house she/he will stay for one weekend. The credit hours earned from Chinese language and culture courses in the program may count towards Chinese Major and/or Minor as well as Asian Studies Major at FSU.
