My teaching spans topics for both undergraduates and graduate students.

At the undergraduate level, I offer several courses including Introduction to Hispanic Linguistics, Spanish Phonetics and Introduction to Linguistics.

At the graduate level, I offer several courses including Introduction to Second Language Acquisition, Cognitive Processes in Bilinguals and Second Language Learners, Theories of Second Language Acquisition, and Research Foundations and Practice in Communicative Language Teaching.

Research Projects My research centers on Psycholinguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Bilingualism and Hispanic Linguistics. Genearlly speaking, I am interested in how the mind processes language. To investigate this question, I make use of on-line psychological tasks under controlled experimental conditions to acccess the mind of the second language learner.
