The Story
Every car has a different story. This is mine.
I was driving down the street on my way to a friend's house in my Red 1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE with another friend driving behind me in a Midnight Blue 2002 Collector's-Edition Camaro, when all-of-a-sudden, traffic stopped for a firetruck coming off of a side road at the traffic light. The light itself was green, but that never stops the guys with sirens, so they barreled across the road and sent cars screeching to a halt. The Mitsubishi stopped. The Mercedes stopped. I stopped. The friend behind me saw the green light and kept going ...
Four-car accidents, citations, and traffic court hearings later, both of our citations were dismissed and I found myself in the market for a new car. My grandfather, who lives in a small town in Central Florida, called one of his favourite car dealers to have them keep an eye out for me. Shortly after that, I got a call about a Teal 1995 Ford Probe GT with all the trimmings. It was a match made in Heaven. To this day, the Probe remains my baby.
