As you think through your Electronic Portfolio keep in mind principles of
FoxFire. The
following are suggestions for an Electronic Portfolio:
- Personal Information--including whatever personal information you
would like to share with the world;
- Include a working version of point and click for your email address;
- Select a personal interest related to graphics and develop it and
also include related
links to additional information on the Web;
- Develop a philosophy about educational uses of computer graphics;
- Show in your own creative ways how you are
demonstrating your understanding and competence of Course
Goals;
- Make your Home Page different from anyone else's and illustrating
creative uses of graphics;
- Work with children/students to explore effective uses of graphics
with them, including using some educational software and having them
create their own work, including animations. Identify:
- What is motivational for them?
- What is distracting to them?
- What can become powerful tools for helping them think?
- Identify and build links for educational uses and real-life
applications of computer graphics;
- Keep in mind building a Home Page that you would be proud to show
others.
