I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Master’s of Public Health Program at Florida State University.  I am also affiliated with the Center for Demography and Population Health in the College of Social Sciences, here at FSU.  My teaching interests include: Medical Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). 

 

My current research includes the use of spatial demographic information for famine early warning systems, and the application of spatial statistical techniques to study infant and maternal health in the United States.
