The Hidden Sources of Law School Stress
A Deeper Understanding of Your Career Choices
|
These booklets were created to support the well-being, motivation and learning/performance of new or current law students, and help them find genuinely satisfying positions after graduation. One or both booklets have been used at more than 100 law schools since their creation in 2005. The 'stress' booklet was revised and the 'careers' booklet was substantially expanded and retitled in late 2006. The booklets combine modern empirical research about values, motivation, optimism, and life satisfaction with an in-depth understanding of the processes taking place in students from orientation to graduation. Each booklet briefly summarizes the challenges particular to its topic the law school experience or the achievement of a satisfying legal career and explains the attitudes and values that will serve students best in each context. The covers and tables of contents appear below. For thoughts about when to use the booklets, go to this link.
The booklets have been designed to be attractive but remain very low in cost. Email me any questions that you have.
