On the 10th of October 1970, four militants from the terrorist group, Front de LibŽration du QuŽbec kidnapped the minister of work and immigration, in the hopes of convincing the provincial government to negotiate. One week later, the police found the dead body of the politician in the trunk of an automobile. This film proposes a possible narrative for the events within the terrorist cell itself.
Clip 1: FLQ Manifesto: The document that the FLQ had printed in the major newspapers of Canada. In the background we see the members of the terrorist cell preparing a house to hold a hostage.
Clip 2: Here, the kidnappers read a letter written by the
hostage to Robert Bourassa, the prime minister of QuŽbec, asking that he
negotiate with the FLQ.
