I've Moved!
As you may have heard, I have moved from Florida State to the Department of Political Science at the University of North Texas during the summer of 2008, so this web site may not last much longer on FSU's servers.
This page is one that did not make the trip to the new server as part of my site's reorganization, and will not be available any more. When I first created this page in 1995, there was no single "best" search engine, and many people did not know what the various options were or how to use them for the best results. Now with the dominance of Google, search bars built into browser windows, and so on, there is no more need for this page to exist.
