The Monumental Cemetery in Milan is one of the great outdoor sculpture sites in the western world. The range of emotional expression goes from joy to sorrow. The physical scale of many of these pieces is what impresses the first time viewer. It is well worth spending several days here wandering along the tree shaded paths.
