IPI Data: Venezuela

We make two versions of the data available. The first version contains the year, month, day, actor, target, and event data. It is the file people interested in data analysis will want. It is called the data analysis file.

The second file contains all of the above information, plus a variety of columns we used to aid the coding process (e.g., the name of the coder, the date of the coding, the name of the editor, etc.). We include this version of the data for replication purposes only--if someone wants to go back to the Reuters reports and check our coding, they will want this version. We call it the coding replication file.

Each file is a zipped file containing two files: a Microsoft Excel (v 3.0) file and an ASCII comma delimited file.
